Continuing on my time in Alaska was a trip down to Seward. We took a day cruise out to see the glaciers and the sea life, because what would going to Alaska be without seeing some of it by sea? The mountains and glaciers were stunning, and we got to see a part of Alaska’s glorious sea life! There were otters playing in the water as well as puffins and seals! We ended our expedition with seeing a pod of Orca whales! It was a perfect ending to a wonderful day on the water!
After our cruise, we went on the search of Bald Eagles as they are much more common in this area! We went by the fishing docks, and as we parked we saw an eagle in the tree! There ended up being four eagles in the area and they kept us busy for some time! The next day we started our journey north towards Denali National Park! On the way we saw a place to take a flight tour! We decided to stop and take the plane tour which was absolutely gorgeous! It was such a unique angle to see the glaciers and mountains from the air! After that we finished with an airbnb on the lake where we saw the most gorgeous sunset!
